Church of Chrome
Founded in early 2048, the Church of Chrome is a secular business organization grounded in the belief that cybernetics, genetic, cosmetic and other such bodily modifications can improve the human experience. Taking their name from the location it originally operated out of on Hitachi, the Church has long worked to establish itself as a reputable source of cybernetics, medical & other services within west-side.
They now occupy their permanent location on the corner of Midtown and Fuji, and the multistory facility is easily seen from the street. As an organization, the Church of Chrome operates in a gray space somewhere between a small business and a proto-corporation. Although their members often don't maintain much of a street or virtual presence, they nevertheless employ a full operations staff and often issue contractual work to other residents of the city.
